Just Chill® Double Mauve camellia is known for its striking pink flowers and bright golden centers. Blooming during a time when the garden may be looking a bit lackluster, these blossoms offer a refreshing pop of color. Their vibrancy stands out beautifully against the dark, glossy evergreen foliage, which maintains its rich color throughout the year.
Hardy to USDA zones 7(6b)-9, Just Chill® Double Mauve camellia reaches a height of 5-8 feet and a width of 3-5 feet. For best results, plant it in moist, acidic soil, as it doesn’t tolerate drought. It thrives in full to partial sun, so choose a spot with at least four hours of direct sunlight daily. While pruning is generally not required, you can shape the plant in late winter or early spring after it blooms.
