Icey Blooms in the Heat of Summer

There’s nothing quite like an ice-cold drink when the summer heat kicks up. Similarly, there is nothing like icey white blooms out in the garden when things get hot. Bring a little ice to your summer garden with Oso Easy Ice Bay® rose (Rosa).

Oso Easy Ice Bay® rose’s milky white flowers bloom in summer, reblooming well into fall without the need to deadhead. The open centers of each bloom make it easy for bees and other pollinators to access the prominent yellow stamens. Unlike other white roses that age to pink, this beauty’s flowers hold their elegant white color until they’re spent.

At 2-3’ tall and wide, this rose is perfect for borders, containers, or cut flower gardens. Its elegant white flowers and dark green leaves make it a great choice for formal and informal gardens alike, as it pairs well with many other plants. It thrives in full sun and is suited for USDA zones 3-9. As part of the Oso Easy® series of roses, Oso Easy Ice Bay® is easy to care for with its disease resistance and abundant rebloom.

It’s recommended to prune Oso Easy Ice Bay® rose in early spring, removing the weak branches in the middle and about ⅓ of the height and width. Make your cuts about ¼ of an inch above a bud.
