It’s All About Pink
With the release of the Barbie movie today, pink is the color of the summer. Between the rise of Barbiecore, the trend of Barbieheimer (Barbenheimer?), and the dozens of Barbie brand collabs, hot pink is everywhere! So in staying with the theme, I have two amazing pink shrubs to tell you about today!

Perfecto Mundo® Double Pink (left) and Double Dark Pink azalea (right). Both of these perfectly pretty pink azaleas are reblooming, meaning you can enjoy big, bright, double blooms in spring and then throughout late summer and fall. Perfecto Mundo® Double Pink boasts delicate, pure pink blooms, and Double Dark Pink shines with vivid, dark pink blooms.
Both are compact and long blooming (they can flower for 12-17 weeks of the year). They will get 2-3’ tall and 3-4’ wide and grow in full sun or part shade. These gorgeous shrubs are hardy in USDA zones 6b-9.
While pruning your Perfecto Mundo® azaleas isn’t necessary, if you’d like to increase the abundance of rebloom, you can give them an all-over trim after the spring bloom to encourage new growth.
In Need of Your Very Own Pink Carpet?

We’ve seen Margot Robbie absolutely shine on the pink carpet with her Barbie-inspired fashion. What if I told you you could have a pink carpet of your own? I’m, of course, talking about a shrub: Perfecto Mundo Pink Carpet® Azalea! As its name suggests, this is an azalea that can be used as a ground cover.
Perfecto Mundo Pink Carpet® azalea has a naturally very low, wide habit growing 1-2’ tall and 2-2.5’ wide. It is the perfect shrub for suppressing weeds in the front of the border.
Not a fan of pink?
It’s okay, I forgive you. Not all of the Perfecto Mundo® azaleas are pink! Check out the other azaleas in the series.
Have a fabulous weekend!
