Perfecto Mundo Epic Pink azalea takes the “epic” in its name literally. Flowering first in spring and once again from mid-summer to fall, it delivers a long period (12 to 18 weeks) of interest marked by an abundance of massive, hot pink blooms. Perfecto Mundo Epic Pink azalea is suited to USDA zones 6b-9. It prefers full to part sun and acidic soils that stay evenly moist. At 3-4 feet tall and 3-5 feet wide, its mature size is slightly larger than our other Perfecto Mundo varieties. Pruning isn’t needed, but a light trim after the spring bloom can help encourage new growth. This azalea has also shown improved lace bug resistance, helping it stay attractive throughout the season.
