A Bright Spot in Your Garden!
When you search “White Album”, the majority (if not all) of the results will lead you to The Beatles’ self-titled ninth studio album. And while I do enjoy a Beatles song from time to time, today’s post won’t focus on the artistic work of the legendary band. Instead, we will dig a bit deeper into those search results to discuss a plant named White Album® wintercreeper (Euonymus fortunei). Though not as famous, this handsome variety is just as noteworthy, bringing crisp, year-round color to your landscape.

White Album wintercreeper has eye-catching white and green variegated foliage. As an evergreen, it looks stunning in every season, and its superior resistance to spotting makes this even more true. An absolute bright spot in the garden, its speckled leaves also look wonderful when used as filler in a cut flower arrangement.
Low-Maintenance and Adaptable
White Album wintercreeper is suited to USDA zones 5-8. It is a tough landscape performer that adapts well to a variety of light exposures and soil types. If you have a shady area in your garden that needs a touch of color, White Album wintercreeper is an excellent choice. This plant matures to a height of 1.5 to 2 feet and a width of 1.5 to 2.5 feet, making it a fantastic ground cover that requires little maintenance. And, it is worth mentioning again, that it truly shines in any floral display, especially when paired with some of our gorgeous white and green hydrangea blooms!
