Plant of the Week: CZECHMARK TRILOGY® Weigela

Czech this out… Czechmark Trilogy® is one of our best-selling weigelas!
And you can see what, it is an improved ‘Carnaval’ with larger flowers and a more compact habit. It looks great in the landscape (3-3.5′ tall and wide) with white, light pink, and dark pink-red flowers all on the same plant.

You can see more of it in our video. It doesn’t hurt that Laura from Garden Answer loves it too!

Like other Weigela florida, Czechmark Trilogy® has pretty good deer resistance. It is popular with pollinators, and Rutgers says it’s a B: “seldom severely damaged.” (Landscape Plants Rated by Deer Resistance (Rutgers NJAES).

It will do best in full sun but can take partial shade in the southern part of its zone (USDA 4-8).

About this cat… and The Cup

Take a look at this beautiful Stanley Cat. He lives with a certain hockey-loving member of Spring Meadow and holds his own against a crazy black lab and a St. Bernard. His sister Oshie (yeah, hockey) gets the assist.

They’re excited because Proven Winners® ColorChoice® is advertising in Canada during the Stanley Cup playoff games! Look for our ad on Rogers Network and Sportsnet during the playoffs!

P.S. We have a French ad playing for our friends in Quebec.
