A Shrub That Steals the Spotlight
Selected for its vibrant flowers, early bloom time, and improved disease resistance, Center Stage® Pink crapemyrtle (Lagerstroemia indica) brings a steady intensity and dramatic presence to your garden.

Blooming in early summer, Center Stage Pink crapemyrtle produces deeply saturated, ruffly pink blooms that pop against rich, dark burgundy foliage. A great choice for Southern gardens, this variety boasts excellent heat tolerance, which helps it remain handsome and full despite scorching conditions.
Suited to USDA zones 6b-10, Center Stage Pink crapemyrtle performs best when planted in areas of full sun. It enjoys moist soil but can adapt to different soil types. At 6-12′ tall and 8′ wide, it makes a fabulous specimen or focal point in the landscape. Unlike other crapemyrtles, Center Stage Pink doesn’t mildew as easily in humid areas thanks to improved disease resistance. Regular pruning is not needed, nor is it recommended. If you would like to shape it, do so in late winter.
